Chicago

We spent the day after Thanksgiving in Chicago. We started at the Museum of Science and Industry. They had some great Christmas decorations up. Time to get started on mine I guess.

The kids had fun with all the hands on exhibits.

They had a real cool exhibit on planet earth. Check out this globe:

After the museum we headed to the top of the Sears tower. Well, almost the top, we were on the observation deck on the 99th floor.

Next was Giordano's for some Chicago style pizza.

Then we headed home to see our dogs, who missed us so much, and relax on the couch and watch the Red Wings.

Half Day

The kids have a half day of school today. Do you know what that means? Tripping over all these big shoes in the foyer.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. We're going over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house for homemade pasties. YUMMY!!!!

Foxy Loxy

The dogs were barking and barking in the backyard, so I had to check it out. It was a fox. Can you see him through the trees?

Maybe if I zoom in a little.

I couldn't get any great shots of him, but then he came back. He saw Gordie.

Gordie saw him.

Time to go.

Harley smells a fox!!

Then he came back again!! The guys were not happy.

Edge of the World

Check out the clouds over The Lake this morning. It looks like we live on the edge of the world!! Make sure you click on the image to see a bigger version, it looks even cooler!

Fall Colors

I hope you enjoyed the fall color show. We had some great color on our back lot line. I thought I would get pictures of the kids to use for my Christmas card, but they didn't turn out that great. Jake always looked like he was in pain.
